Sophie (Betlow) Davino Obituary (1927

Sophie (Betlow) Davino 89 of Monroe Township died Saturday April 29th at The Elms of Cranbury. Born in Jersey City, Mrs. Davino lived in Monroe Township and then Freehold before returning Monroe Township and the Rossmoor community in 2007. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2006, her four sisters Catherine Timm, Julia Orlando, Helen Major and Mary Bogdan and her three brothers John, Michael and James Betlow. Surviving are her children, Joseph Davino and his wife Roseanna of Jamesburg and Sue Ann Medley and her boyfriend Patrick of Bayville and her four grandchildren Terry Jennings, Shawn Ryan Medley, Amanda Rose Davino and Joseph Anthony Davino. Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday May 3rd at the Lester Memorial Home 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg followed by a 10 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. James RC Church, Jamesburg. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Tuesday 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
