Pasqualino (Buddy) Digangi Obituary (1929

Pasqualino (Buddy) DiGangi 85 of Monroe Township died Sunday December 28th at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. He was born in Jamesburg and was a lifelong resident until moving to the Rossmoor community in Monroe Township in 2008. Mr. DiGangi was employed for 27 years as an inspector for the NJ Department of Transportation, retiring in 1999. Previously he worked at DiGangi's Market in Jamesburg and after his retirement he was employed part time for the Schoor DePalm Company of Matawan. He was a longtime member of the Jamesburg Elks Lodge #2180, the Lakeside Rod and Gun Club, Monroe Township and a former member of the Jamesburg Board of Education. Surviving are his wife of 56 years Margaret Cook, his son and daughter-in-law Patrick and Chollet DiGangi of Millstone Township, his daughter and son-in-law Karen and Frank Earl of Monroe Township, his brother Joseph of Arlington, VA, his two sisters Ann Jawidzik of Monroe Township and Mary Blood of San Antonio, TX and his three grandchildren Patrick DiGangi Jr. and Matthew and Caroline Earl. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday January 3rd at the Lester Memorial Home 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg followed by a 10:30 funeral liturgy at St. James RC Church, Jamesburg. Cremation will be private. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Deacon's Food Pantry c/o the Jamesburg Presbyterian Church 175 Gatzmer Avenue, Jamesburg.
