Maureen Patricia (Doherty) Roberts Obituary (1928

Maureen P. (Doherty) Roberts, 84 of Princeton Junction died Tuesday November 26th at the Bridgeway Care Center, Bridgewater, NJ. Born in New York City, Mrs. Roberts lived on Staten Island and East Brunswick for 37 years before moving to Princeton Junction in 2004. She was employed for 21 years as a tape librarian for the Bristol Myers Squibb, Co., New Brunswick, retiring in 1991. Mrs. Roberts was a former parishioner of St. Bartholomew's RC Church, East Brunswick. She was predeceased by her husband Edward in 2002, her sister Kathleen Doherty and her brother James Doherty. Surviving are her three daughters Mary Branco of Long Valley, Ann Roberts of Princeton Junction and Barbara Szabo of Hillsborough, her sister Eileen Doherty of Monroe Twp. and her six grandchildren Trevor, Kevin and Holly Branco and Brendan, Owen and Aidan Szabo. Services will begin at 12 noon on Saturday November 30th at the Lester Memorial Home followed by a 1 p.m. funeral liturgy at St. David the King RC Church, West Windsor. Cremation will be private. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Friday form 4-7 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. - 12 noon at the funeral home.
