Liggett Russell Filkohazi Obituary (1961

Liggett R. Filkohazi, 51 of Forked River died Saturday July 21 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in New Brunswick, Mr. Filkohazi lived in Milltown for most of his life before moving to Forked River in 1995. He was employed at his family business, Acme Valve Installing Inc., New Brunswick from 1977 to 1999. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Surviving are his two daughters Danielle Filkohazi of Lawwrenceville and Chelsea Filkohazi of Philadelphia, PA, his parents Andrew and Patricia (Kunsevich) Filkohazi of Forked River, his brother Andrew and his fiance Denise Scerbo and her son Michael of Forked River, three sisters Chrissy Astone and her husband Steven of Monroe Twp., Cindy Daily and her husband Joe of Forked River and Barbara Filkohazi of Forked River and his nieces and nephews Andrea, Kyle, Alexandra, Joey, Hannah, Marissa and Steven. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Lester Memorial Home 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg. Cremation will be private.
